This book contains a historical account of the Macdonald Valley and St. Albans area from early settlement.

Commissioned by IFC Cranebrook Ltd as part of the rezoning application to Penrith Council to establish the likely cultural and archaeological values of the study area against the development potential of the site.

Three young Australians join the army at the beginning of World War I and are assigned to the Australian Light Horse cavalry, which is serving in Palestine. The three eventually take part in the attack during the Battle of Beersheba.
