The Werrington Signals Mixed-Use Area covers land bounded by the main western railway line; the Great Western Highway; French Street and existing residential development; and UWS(North Campus). Site deemed surplus to Department of Defence needs.

This study aimes to formulate a total transport to be implemented by NSW State Government agencies, Penrith City Council & tertiary institutions which make up the Werrington complex.

NSW Department of Environment and Planning, Penrith City Council and the Premier' Department commissioned this total transport study of Chifley Tertiary Education Complex at Werrington with the outcomes to implemented by all the responsible agencies

In 1988 the Greater West opened its doors to the world for an explosion of Bicentennial events. Booklet included a calendar of events in Penrith.

The aim of the study was to examine those policies and programs which related to the future development of the western region. It then proposed to make recommendations for policy development and plans of action though which the region could address the problems which the study identified.
