Overview of the various building profiles and plans as part of the development planned for Waterside

This reports presents information to support the preparation of a draft local environmental plan to rezone part of the site and amend the land use table of the Lakes Environs LEP 1998.

Waterside is a new urban area located between Penrith Lakes and Cranebrook. It is proposed to amend the Waterside sections of the draft Penrith DCP to allow for single story dwellings and to remove the apartment dwelling restrictions.

Waterside Green is being developed on 53ha of prestige land at Penrith to provide for 25ha of residential land with over 9ha of waterways. Architectural character and built form will be guided by these design guidelines for individual dwellings.
