This plan applies to the Werrington Creek riparian corridor which is located within the Western Sydney suburb of Werrington. The study area is approximately 3 kilometres east of the Penrith city centre.

This study will establish a framework upon which the open space system of the WELL Precinct will be based.

Proposal for an integrated water cycle management strategy for the WELL Precinct which identifies the basic water quality and quantity management principles and key management issues for the WELL Precinct.

This Plan has been prepared in response to the need for coordinated infrastructure in the Precinct (comprising parts of the suburbs of Kingswood, Werrington and Claremont Meadows).

Outlines a framework within which the areas's potential can evolve into realisable quality urban outcomes for the City of Penrith and the greater metropolitan region. Seeks to provide a blueprint for the future of the area which is understood and endorsed
