The Better Futures Strategy was funded by the NSW Government to improve the effectiveness of support and services for young people aged 9 to 18. This plan principally covers the Penrith LGA.

Provides some practical advice to Councils with an interest or involvement in cultural development and cultural planning. It builds on the concept of integrated Local Area Planning and focuses on links between cultural issues and other aspects of Council

The main focus of this research was the Smith family who lived at Castlereagh, NSW and related families.

This publication is an updated version of the book that was first published in 1983.
