The Farming on the Fringe Study is a University of Technology Graduate Project conducted to identify the status and needs of agriculture in the Sydney Basin and to formulate a strategy for its conservation.

On the night of 30 January, 1878, head-on collision between two goods trains. The driver, John Egan and guard Hubert Brady of the eastbound train were killed. The fireman John Wiggins was killed on the westbound train.

The lives of men and boys growing up in a rural town from 1930's to 1990's are looked at in the spirit of reconciliation and in hope of making a better world for men and women alike.

This is a review of knowledge of Penrith City flora & fauna & threats to conservation;realistic achievable ways of achieving conservation are made.
