Archaeological report on Parker's homestead and outbuildings at Castlereagh. It was 26 3/4 acres on the eastern side of Castlereagh Road.Originally a land grant to Christopher Frederick, sold in 1851 to Thomas & Mary Sims & then to John Parker

The site was first introduced to our group by Beth Moore, secretary of the Nepean Historical Society as something she had noticed while walking her dog along Knapsack. The site was the remains of a building built by NSW Railways and was part of the construction site of railway work in the vicinity.
