Penrith City Council's proposed revitalisation for Penrith Local Government area involves a number of initiatives to promote a wider appreciation of the rich historic cultural heritage of the area. This report covers St Marys and North St Marys heritage interpretative plan.

In 2014 GML prepared the St Marys and North St Marys Heritage Interpretation Plan for Penrith City Council. One of the recommendations in the plan was for an interpretive panel to be located in the newly designed Bennett wagon display area within South Creek Park.
