This study aimes to formulate a total transport to be implemented by NSW State Government agencies, Penrith City Council & tertiary institutions which make up the Werrington complex.

NSW Department of Environment and Planning, Penrith City Council and the Premier' Department commissioned this total transport study of Chifley Tertiary Education Complex at Werrington with the outcomes to implemented by all the responsible agencies

In 1988 the Greater West opened its doors to the world for an explosion of Bicentennial events. Booklet included a calendar of events in Penrith.

The aim of the study was to examine those policies and programs which related to the future development of the western region. It then proposed to make recommendations for policy development and plans of action though which the region could address the problems which the study identified.

Pockets of bushland across the Cumberland Plain contain much of interest to the naturalist. Such as stands of Camden White Gum at Bent's Basin, endemic She-oak and Hop bush at Castlereagh and some unusual sand dune plants at Agnes Banks.
