Richard Stanton worked for Ducon in the St Marys industrial area. Richard was in the Navy during the war and worked as an inspector at the Ducon factory before working there as an employee.

Robert George talks about his work in the shell section at the factory where he filled bullets and explosives and later assembled and packed shells. He worked there from the 1940s to 1992.

Roger Colless spoke at a monthly meeting of the NFHS in the 1980s. He spoke about his Colless family and their origins and the founder of the Nepean Times (1882-1962), Alfred Colless.
