Ron Barrett had a garage on the north west corner of High and Woodriff Streets which was purchased by G J Coles in 1957. In 1958 he opened new premises on the north west corner of High Street and Castlereagh Road. He was the dealer of Nuffield, Morris, Wolsley and Austin cars and was also the NRMA agent for Penrith. He continued to trade on this site until 1986 when NRMA bought him out. It is now the site of the Penrith City Council Civic Centre. Pictured at the NRMA town truck and the breakdown wagon.
