This photograph shows the western end of the CBD, with the Nepean River and the suburb of Leonay in the background. Visible in the photograph is the Penrith Showground and Swimming Centre. In the foreground of the photo on the left hand side is Penrith RSL Club and in the bottom right hand side is Penrith Technical College. The streets that are visible in the photograph are High Street, Station Street, Woodriff Street, Castlereagh Street and Henry Street. This photograph is almost identical to LH0020 except that it was taken at a higher elevation and consequently shows the railway precinct.
