E.G. Field's champion Clydesdale stallion Lord Nepean, taken at the Nepean Show in 1936. The name of the judge is not known. The Field family came to the district about 1803. Their first grant of land was at Castlereagh, on the river bank adjacent to Jackson's Lane and the Methodist Church.
