Werrington Park was established by the NSW Child Welfare Department as a home for intellectually disabled State Wards in 1954. Children residing there were taught basic life skills and farming. Werrington Park is now a part of the University of Western Sydney's Werrington North Campus. The main house can be seen in the background.
