This aerial photograph was taken of Emu Plains looking west and shows the Great Western Highway. Other streets seen are Hunter Street, Nepean Street, Cary Street, Forbes Street, Emerald Street, Pyramid Street, Short Street and Russell Street. Dungarth, with its orchards and gardens can seen in the centre of the photograph. The citrus orchards in the bottom of the photograph belonged to the Sheppard and Walker families.
