GPS Regatta on the Nepean River in 1949. The first G.P.S. (Greater Public Schools) rowing regatta was held in 1936. It was held annually on the river until the event moved to the Sydney International Regatta Centre at the Penrith Lakes in 1996. Photograph shows the eastern bank of the river.
