A series of photographs of the Great Western Highway Emu Plains and surrounding areas, from Nepean Street to Pyramid Street. The trees along both sides of the highway between Nepean Street and Pyramid Street were planted by local resident beekeepers Lawson Taylor and George Innes in 1939. The Sydney Blue Gums were chosen because they were good for honey production. The trees on the northern side were removed in 2016 after being damaged.
