Granny Wilson was Harriet Ada Luxford, born to James and Charlotte Luxford at Dunheved in 1871. She married Ernest Wilson at St Mary Magdalene Anglican Church St Marys in December 1896. They would have five children. She would become known locally as Granny Wilson. She died in March 1968 at the age of 97.
