This photograph shows a portion of the crowd who attended the jubilee celebrations at St Marys Public School in 1937. The original school was built near the entrance to the present site in 1855. This school was destroyed by fire in 1878. In the same year, a new St Marys Public School was opened, featuring steeped wings that form a grouping. New wings were added in 1892.
