Residence of Mr W. S. Walker. Mr. Walker lived in Penrith for over 27 years. He was an alderman for many years and served as Mayor. He was secretary of Penrith Civilian Rifle Club, He was a committeeman of Nepean A.H. and I. Society, Elder of Penrith Presbyterian Church and Superintendent of the Sunday School, a Mason, of Lodge Nepean, and a member of the Druids' Lodge. For many years Mr. Walker, conducted the Nepean Bakery, which he disposed of about 1925 to Mr. J. Edwards, and which was eventually sold to Mr. O'Farrell.
