Memory park was opened in July 1922 as a tribute to the soldiers who fought in World War One. The park used to house a rotunda, seven honour tablets and two large trophy gins. The rotunda was demolished in 1972 and the guns removed when the park was redesigned. Memory Park is located on the corner of High and Woodriff Street, Penrith
