Emu Heights Public School has celebrated its 50th anniversary with a weekend-long celebration. As part of the event the school's front oval was officially opened under the name Bendell Oval, commemorating Keith Bendell, who has been a cleaner at the school for 42 years and whose children and grandchildren have all attended as pupils.
