The "Absurd Person Singular" was a 1972 play written by Alan Ayckbourn. Divided into three acts, it documents the changing fortunes of three married couples. Each act takes place at a Christmas celebration at one of the couples' homes on successive Christmas Eves. The Q Theatre, located at the old Railway Institute Building in Penrith, performed this play from 20 April to 14 May 1978. The actors in the play were Elaine Hudson, Richard Brooks, Leo Taylor, Vola Vandere, Bill Conn and Andrea Kellar. This photograph shows Alan Brel on stage.
