Total of 18,834 electors on the rolls of Penrith City Council at July 1, 1961, shows an increase of almost 4,000 on the 14,938 shown at June 1, 1959. Ward 2 St Marys had the biggest increase, 1,546. Next was Ward 4, Castlereagh-Cambridge Park, Werrington, 1,187.
