In their lakeside holiday cabin Gerald and Jessie Brulingame trt bondage to liven up their marriage. But when Jessie is handcuffed to the bed she feels shame and humiliation and asks Gerald to let her loose. Gerald sees it as part of the bondage game. Jessie kicks out at Gerald and he has a coronary which leaves him dead on the floor and Jessie still handcuffed to the bed. As Jessie comtemplates death by dehydration she hears voices inside her head, and one voice stands out telling her to go back to her childhood memory of another memory of a lake and another cabin - and another terrifying event. An event she had forgotten, but one she must now re-live once again to survive. And that's when the nightmare truly begins.
