An exhibition on Charles Darwin. Includes information on his journey to Bathurst 20-27 January 1836. Also includes information on his relationship with the King family.

Based on transcriptions of the entire Australian section of Darwin's diary, which are supplemented by extracts from field notes, letters and other published material. Addditional commentary from other members of the Beagle's company.

The main objective of the investigation was to determine site history, land use practices and changes in land use, identify possible sources of contamination.

Impact by phenols and metals has been identified in the groundwater within the Cherrywood village. A Remedial Action Plan has been prepared for the clean-up of the identified contamination.
