This is a report of the investigation of a cave at Glenbrook by Australian Museum staff, R W Thorpe, ethnologist, and G C Clutton, photographer, which was organised by G E Bunyan of Emu Plains. They were accompanied by G K Bunyan, T Cornell, J Dunn, A S Gates and our newspaper representative. The cave walls show a series of red stencilled hands, about 45 in number, reported to be done by aborigines. The method of stencilling and the proposed symbolism of the red hands is discussed in the article. Also found were aboriginal artefacts such as cutting knives, a pickaxe and a grinding stone.
