The team was Penrith Cricket Club winners of the 1892-93 season when they defeated their arch enemies The Rotten Oranges of Emu Plains. The team members would have been professional men from the Penrith township. Standing left to right are I G Tedder, K T Tweedie, W Player, I W Woodland, Francis H Woodriff, Dr C H Scott and Frederick D Woodriff. Seated left to right are F Player, M Tunks, M Cleeves and F Evans.
