The Methodist parsonage was built in 1905 and completed in 1906. It contained eight rooms, as well as a bathroom, kitchen, two pantries and a wash house. The foundation stone for the Methodist Sunday School and Church Hall was laid on November 29 1929, with the building opening the following March. It was situated behind the parsonage with frontage to Evan Street. It was demolished in November 1974. This image was reproduced from 'Penrith Circuit Souvenir' by Reverend and Mrs Putland.
