The view shows Lake Burragorang looking north towards Penrith. Water is collected from the catchments of the Wollondilly and Coxs River systems covering an area of 9, 050 square kilometres to form Lake Burragorang and Warragamba Dam. Lake Burragorang is the largest urban water supply in Australia, containing four times the volume of water of Sydney Harbour. It accounts for about 80 per cent of the water supply for over four million people in the Sydney region.
