O'Donoghues Irish Pub in Emu Plains, New South Wales. Known as the Emu Hotel, the first licencee in 1835 was Henry Hall. There were several hoteliers with John G Thurston in 1886. The hotel was condemned by police at that time, however it was re-opened by William George Clarke who changed its name to the Orient Hotel.  It ran with another series of licencees, with Percy Plunkett from 1935 to 1937.  After this, Cecil Hay took ownership and the hotel was known as the Nepean Hotel from 1937. In 1998 it was renamed again and is now known as O'Donoghues Irish Pub. It is located on the corner of Great Western Hwy & Station St in Emu Plains.
