Archives
The siding at Emu Plains railway station was originally the Station Master's residence. The station building opened in 1884 and remained the home for railway personal until 1980. The first station was just west of this one, built in 1867. The line was a single track till 1907 when the Railway Bridge across the Nepean River was built and carried two tracks, so in the same year the 'UP' platform was erected.
