In the 1820s, Rosetta Marsh and Samuel Terry commissioned the construction of a house titled Mt. Pleasant. The house was demolished in the 1950s. The olive trees, are believed to have been planted by Rosetta Marsh at the same time the house was built. The trees are all that remains of the Mt Pleasant home.
