The hall was originally located in Station Street in Penrith. It was originally, the Primitive Methodist Church, then became known as Central Hall. It was taken over by the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows. In 1937, following the restoration of the hall, the CWA moved into the building. The building was move to South Creek Park in 1981. It was destroyed by fire.
