The photograph was taken from Bamford's Bakery situated on the corner of High & Station Streets, Penrith. The single storey house in the background was the home of Mrs Woodland. The two storey building behind Mrs Woodland's is the Royal Hotel which was situated in Henry Street. Information on other houses can be accessed with the original photograph.
