This picturesque stone school building was erected in 1877 to a design by George Mansfield. It includes a schoolroom, toilet blocks, residence and features roughly coursed stone walls with cut stone quoins, window and door surrounds. The building is no longer a school and houses the Nepean Family History Society. A new school opened in Emerald Street Emu Plains in 1967.
