This sandstone house was once located on the corner of Station Street and Union Lane, Penrith. Built by builder George Cooper, it was later owned by Elizabeth Heron, the wife of David Heron and later by their son John. It later became a maternity hospital run by Nurse Doubleday. The building was demolished in 1968. The building on the right was the Primitive Methodist Church which would later become the CWA Rooms. It was also known as Central Hall.
