In 1859 Reverend George Fairfowl Macarthur moved his school from Alexandria out to Macquarie Fields and reestablished it under the name of St Mark's Collegiate School. It closed down in 1868. Standing left to right are Dr W. Chisholm, H. H. Massie, W. G. Collings, an old master, Dr Edward Jenkin and S. R. Corkhill. Seated left to right are Fred Blaxland, E. F. Stephen, E. J. Cobcroft & Dr Walter Blaxland.
