Penrith Court House, seen on the left, opened in 1963 at a cost of £200,000. The previous court house was located on the northern side of High Street. The Henry Street Methodist Church was completed in 1861 on land donated by John Tindale with twin porches added to the facade in 1886. The church was converted to professional offices in the 1980s and later began operating as the King Henry's Court restaurant.
