Helen Kerrigan holds baby Grant, the 200th baby born at Jamison Hospital. She is with Liliana Niccol, Assistant Director of Nursing & Maternity. Jamison Private Hospital opened in 1969. In 1988 the facility was expanded from 67 beds to 120 beds plus a new maternity unit. It ceased to be a private hospital when the Nepean Private Hospital was built within the grounds of the Nepean District Hospital. In 2001 it was refitted as an aged care facility and renamed Jamison Gardens.
