This Federation house, features an elegant timber porch, leading into the garden. The garden consists of tall trees, including palms and camphor laurels. The house was built of brick with a corrugated iron roof and is likely to be associated with the Kingswood or Millen's tannery which operated on the adjoining site from 1895 to 1956. The house is also known as Maemont.
