Samuel Bullard died on 28 February 1868 aged 74 years. This is the date recorded on the headstone, but the church register records that he died on 23 February 1868. He was a gardener of Penrith. He was at one time employed by John Single as a labourer. It is a gabled sandstone headstone and footstone. Plot number G8 .
