Orange Grove Cottage was built in about 1860 by William Ellison an orchardist. It is a simple brick rendered cottage, ruled to represent stonework. It has a gabled roof with an external attic door at either end. A weatherboard kitchen wing is at the rear. William Ellison left the property to his niece Rebecca King. It later became the home of an Ellison descendant, Mrs Arthur Wines.
