Great Western Highway, Werrington, looking west. The weatherboard cottage in the left of the photograph was the home of Walter Mallard. Next to that was a Hackett family home. The house across the road is Torquay and the cottage on the far right was the slab built home of Benjamin Loveday, a carpenter who lived there in 1850. In 1904 it was owned by the Barrett family and has since been demolished.
