This building was located in Henry Street Penrith. The building was the town hall and council chambers from 1881 to 1959, when the council moved to a new building on the corner of Henry and Station Streets. The library was in this building until 1964. The original photograph is located in the book 'Newspaper Cuttings & Photographs referring to the Penrith Municipal Library' held in the Local Studies Collection at LS027.494 NEW
