This image was taken from the eastern side of the Nepean River possibly from the Nepean Rowing Club, looking south and shows the railway bridge over the Nepean River at Penrith. Construction of the railway bridge began in June 1904 and the bridge was open for trains in 1907. The Railway Bridge sits beside the Victoria Bridge, also known as Nepean Bridge which caters for motor vehicles. The postcard was published by Murray Views.
