It is one of the many postcards sent from Elva Field of Castlereagh to her friend Elsie Plaxton in Tasmania. Others are also contained within this collection.Message reads : My dear Elsie, I was surprised to hear from you again on Friday. Yes dear you had sent two cards to me the week before, but you must have forgotten. I was very pleased to hear from you, and thank you so much for all the pretty cards.
