South-west view from Quarry Hill. Quarry Hill is the highest point in the suburb of Orchard Hills. Orchard Hills is part of the original Coallee Estate granted to Mary Putland, daughter of Governor William Bligh, in 1806. Quarry Hill is now the site of the University of Western Sydney and the Western Sydney Institute of TAFE. The Great Western Highway can be seen in the background.
