The external appearance of this house is of a Californian Bungalow, but the gable is inscribed ";1895 - 30,"; suggesting that there is an earlier core. It was the home of the Hall family, who were responsible for the extensive landscaping of the adjoining bushland site in the 1920's, with stone walls and terraces. Two hectares of this property located at the end of Barina Crescent was given as a public reserve. It was called Bellbird Reserve
