Wallacia Bridge is located at what was once Blaxland's Crossing. It became known as Blaxland's Crossing when John Blaxland built a causeway there to reach his Mulgoa Forest property located on the western side of the Nepean River. In 1896 a more substantial bridge was built. It was replaced in 1966.
